Welcome to the Gender Studies' Subject Guide
This subject guide is designed to help all users who are interested in studying the fields of gender studies, women’s studies and gender equality. Exploring and engaging with this guide will enable you to find some of the most important resources concerning theories and research methods, as well as core journals and databases. In addition, this web guide offers reliable sources of information related to international gender statistics and gender equality.
This guide contains several resources which are freely accessible, but some of our sources are restricted due to license agreements. You are entitled to access the resources if your university has provided a license. However, as a registered user of The Royal Library you have free access to all sources through walk-in-use at any of the Royal Danish Library's serving points.

Copenhagen University Library, South Campus, has a special reference collection emphasizing on Danish gender studies from 1980 and onwards. The reference collection also includes important journals from the Danish women’s movement dating from the 1970s. Please feel free to come and explore the collection.
