About the venue
The Black Diamond is the Royal Danish Library's beacon of culture, situated on the Copenhagen harbour waterfront.
The iconic building opened in 1999, and was built to fit with the original library building from 1906.
More than 1,000 students, Copenhageners, tourists and other curious people visit The Black Diamond every day and make use of the library, cultural activities, café, shop and meeting rooms.
The Black Diamond is wheelchair and reduced mobility accessible.

Find your way
The Black Diamond is located in central Copenhagen, within walking distance of Metro (stations Gammel Strand and Kongens Nytorv), and bus to Copenhagen Central Station.
Parking in private cars is not available in connection to the venue - please seek parking in adjoining streets or private vendor parking facilities. Disability parking is available.
Travel time from Copenhagen Airport is approx. 30 minutes.
The venue is next to the historic city centre, and close to many options of accomodation.
