The subject is a study of the German-speaking countries - their literatures, histories and languages, and it covers both linguistics and the practical use of language, comparative literature and theory as well as cultural history and current events.
The Faculty Library of Humanities acquires books, periodicals and online resources covering all topics relevant to the subject for the benefit of students, staff and researchers at the University of Copenhagen. Most printed material is available for home loan, but access to the online resources is limited to people with remote access.
