Once you have installed Mendeley Cite, it will be in Word under references tab
To insert references in your document , select the references you need on the References tab and then click Insert ... citation(s)
When you have to choose which Citation style to use, you have to stand on the Citation Style tab and here choose which one you want to use.
And finally - when you need to insert your reference list in the document, click on More and then Insert Bibliography
