The library at Frederiksberg Campus has signed a license for the reference management program RefWorks and it gives students and staff at SCIENCE and SUND the right to use the product as long as we have the license. This means that is is also accessible when the affiliation with the University stops.

RefWorks is web-based and can be used from almost any computer (even those with Mac) from anywhere in the world as long as there is network access.
To get the references in to RefWorks, you need an import filter. The import filter acts as a kind of translator, which ensures that the information in the databases is readable in RefWorks. In most cases, it does not appear as imports most times is direct. But sometimes - like when importing from PubMed, you have to use an import filter - or if the direct import does not work.
And to get references from RefWorks into Word, you need an Output Style. There are about 3800 of them - each magazine has its own Style.
