The EU Information Centre
The EU Information Centre is a part of the Administration of the Danish Parliament with the responsibility to answer questions from the public about all subjects relating to the EU. Fast, politically neutral, professional and free of charge.
Has information about 58 subjects and areas of EU law. Each subject contains an introduction to the specific areas of law, its structure and function. The introductions go over central provisions in the Treaty of the European Union. Additionally, relevant articles in the EEC Treaty as well as other important legal acts are included under the individual subject areas. The notes in EU Karnov has references to relevant legal acts, rulings and other literature.
In Eurlex you can find documents from 1951-, all in all totalling about 2,815,000 texts. The database is updated daily and about 12,000 documents are added each year.

The Royal Library has an almost complete collection of COM documents 1974-mid 2002 (in closed stack).

Important COM documents can be found and requested through the REX catalogue. They can be found by their COM number (search the COM number in REX under call no. ).
Non.registered documents can be requested through the special request form in the REX catalogue.

The statistical office of the European Union publishes a uniform statistic covering e.g. economics, finances, populations, social conditions, energy, industry, agriculture and forestry, fishing, foreign trade, transport, the environment and research covering all EU countries and, to a lesser extend, applicant countries and major trading partners.
