Books for use outside the library are placed on the lower floor at the Faculty Library of Social Sciences in Gothersgade. You can see the location of a book in REX in the tab called “Request & location”.
The reference collection which primarily consists of reference books and dictionaries is placed in the reading room on the second floor.
You must order articles from printed journals and books from before 2010 in REX.
We deliver articles from printed journals as PDFs to your email the following workday.
The books will be ready for pick-up the following workday at 2 pm at the latest. You will receive an email when you can fetch them at the library.
You find the books on your curriculum list at both Gothersgade and the Social Sciences Study Library ('). The books are placed according to subject and course. You find the location of the books in REX in the tab called “Request & location”.
You have to hand in the course literature at closing time at the latest the same day that you borrowed the books.
Read your course literature in the reading room or copy or scan the books in the rooms next to the course literature. Remember, you scan books for free.
Your tutor will often have made a link in Absalon for the article to ensure you a speedy access to your articles. All you have to do is log on in REX. If there is no link in Absalon, you can look for the articles in REX. If in doubt, ask at the desk in Gothersgade or at the Social Sciences Study Library.
